Saul Cohen, CLU, ChFC for 32 years, has enjoyed a
successful career as a business owner, a financial consultant, a mentor to
young financial professionals as well as an active community leader.
At Strategies for Wealth Creation
& Protection, Saul focuses on strategies for affluent individuals, corporate
executives, professionals and business owners, helping them to achieve their
full financial potential. Saul lectures frequently on wealth and tax strategies,
estate, business, and pension planning to professional and fraternal
organizations. He is a member of the Society of Financial Services
Professionals, the Golden Key Society and the National Association of Insurance
& Financial Advisors.
In 1993, Saul earned his
Charted Life Underwriter (CLU)
designation from the American College. The following year, Saul earned his
Chartered Financial Consultant
(ChFC) designation.
In Saul 's first business venture
in 1974, he founded a private ambulance company. He also became founding
President of the New York State Professional Ambulance Association and its
political action committee.
After thirteen successful years,
Saul sold his company in 1987 and became affiliated with Strategies for Wealth
Creation & Protection, a 68-year old financial planning organization with
over 120 planning partners and offices in the Wall Street district as well as
White Plains, NY.
Saul attended The City College of
NY. Saul has three children and he lives in Staten Island where he is active in
community affairs. Saul has served as an Officer and Board Member of his
Synagogue, his children's school, the Regional Emergency Medical Services
Council, The State Emergency Medical Services Council and he was appointed to
Special Task Forces for Governor Mario Cuomo and Mayor Edward I.
